Something Shifted

A poem that celebrates beach life, slow living and minimalism

The fog was grey, I couldn't see

                                    I  didn't know myself, I wasn't me

The sun it shone, the fog it lifted

                                    The waves crashed, something shifted

                                    Shell filled pockets, sandy sheets

                                    Wild hair, bare feet

                                    Simple pleasures, pure bliss

A grateful smile for having this
